Two platforms, clear guidance

ABS Golf Academy is available from the App Store as a free iPhone app. Use the App Store links on this site or search for ABS Golf Academy in the App Store.
Open an activity and use Complete Activity to enter time, ball contacts, and score if available.
Go to Statistics, swipe a log row for Edit or Delete, or open the log to edit and save. Delete hides the entry from normal views; its retained content, previous versions and deletion marker are not permanently erased.
Those fields only appear for activity types where they are relevant or required.
Tap the star on an activity. Use the Favourites filter to show only starred items.
Yes. Use the Designer tab to create activities that appear alongside the built-in catalog.
Planning saves reusable week structure so you can compare planned minutes to your ambition and return to the same rhythm later. Advanced Planning adds richer week and day planning for more detailed scheduled golf work.
Premium is the paid Academy subscription layer handled through the App Store. Open Settings > Membership to see Billed monthly and Billed yearly options. Check the billing period and price in Apple's purchase confirmation before subscribing.
Season Highlights is a premium statistics view for broader year-to-date progress. It becomes more useful as you log more completed activities over time.
Use Settings > Membership > Restore purchases with the Apple account used for the subscription, then check Current plan. This rechecks Apple purchase access; it does not restore training history or an iCloud backup.
Open iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions, select ABS Golf Academy and follow Apple's options. There is no separate Manage subscription button in the Academy iOS app. Deleting the app is not a cancellation request.
Purchases are checked through the store used to buy them. Apple purchase access does not automatically transfer to Google Play or to ABS Golf Performance. Use the original purchase account to restore access on iOS.
Check that notifications are enabled in Settings and allowed in your device system settings.
No. Academy retains previous versions and deletion markers for training entries, Simple Planner sessions, Advanced Planner events and custom activities, including saved content and notes. Deleting hides an item from normal views, and editing does not erase earlier versions. Retained records have no automatic expiry or in-app permanent-erasure control. There is no single in-app erase-all control.
Stop using Academy on your other devices before a reset. Manage Academy data through the app storage controls in iOS Settings > your name > iCloud, where available. After cloud data is cleared, remaining device copies or restored backups may repopulate it. Settings also use iCloud Key-Value Store, so clearing one storage area does not necessarily clear every synced setting. Removing the app, disabling sync or signing out of iCloud does not itself erase iCloud copies. Contact support if you cannot remove the relevant cloud data; a local reinstall is not a cloud reset.
Data is stored locally on your iOS device. Supported training and planning data, including retained previous versions and deletion markers, can sync through private CloudKit records when iCloud is available. Settings can also sync through iCloud Key-Value Store. Retained records do not expire automatically.
Academy for Android
For the Android app: Google Play purchases and optional Google Drive backup and restore. Apple billing and iCloud instructions do not apply.
Download ABS Golf Academy for Android from its official Google Play listing.
Use Activity to find a drill, open its details and choose Complete Activity.
Review your completed sessions in Statistics and use Planning to organise future practice.
Use Designer when you want to create a practice activity that is not in the built-in catalog.
Open Settings > Membership to see Current plan and the available Premium options.
In Settings > Backup, use Google Drive Backup > Connect if you want to save a backup in your own Google account.
Use the official ABS Golf Academy listing in Google Play. The App Store listing is for the separate iPhone app.
Go to Activity, open the drill and choose Complete Activity. Enter the time, score and ball contacts offered for that activity, then save the session. Review it in Statistics.
Clear the search text and relax your activity filters. Saved favourites can help you find an activity again.
Go to Settings > Membership, review the monthly or yearly option and choose Subscribe. Google Play handles the purchase. Check its price, billing period and any offer conditions before confirming.
Make sure Google Play is using the account that owns the subscription. Use Settings > Membership > Restore purchases, then check Current plan. This rechecks billing access; it does not restore your training history. If access is still missing, contact support before buying again.
Use Settings > Membership > Manage subscription when it is shown, or open Google Play > your profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Select ABS Golf Academy and follow Google's instructions. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
Apple and Google Play purchases are checked separately. Do not assume an Apple subscription automatically unlocks Android, or that an Academy subscription unlocks ABS Golf Performance. Drive backup and restore do not transfer subscription ownership.
The training database and settings are stored on your device. Optional backup and restore uses a private app-data area in your own Google Drive account. This Android app does not use iCloud or CloudKit.
In Settings > Backup, choose Connect under Google Drive Backup and sign in with the account you want to use. Connecting also attempts a restore. Use Back up now to upload data and Restore to read the saved backup into the app. Use the same Google account when restoring on another Android device.
No. The Android feature provides backup and restore, not continuous synchronization. Create a backup when you want to save the device's current data and restore it deliberately where needed.
Disconnecting does not delete local data or the saved Drive backup. An older backup can bring deleted records back when restored. Remove backups and exported files separately when you want to reset data; see the Android Privacy Policy for the relevant storage controls.
