ABS Golf Performance
These terms explain important limitations for Premium GPS positions, Round Trail, Club Distances, and related ABS Golf Performance features.
ABS Golf Performance provides golf round, course, scorecard, reporting, and performance-review tools. Premium access may include At Tee, At My Ball, At Pin, manual map placement, Round Trail, Club Distances, and related report output. Current purchase terms and availability are shown in the app and in Apple’s purchase sheet before confirmation.
GPS accuracy varies with the device, surroundings, signal conditions, and map placement. Confirmed GPS positions and manually placed map positions may be inaccurate. Review a position before confirming it and treat all position information as approximate.
A Club Distance is the direct distance between consecutive confirmed positions. It represents played distance, not carry distance, and does not distinguish flight from roll. Calculated distances are advisory estimates and are not official measurements.
Relief, a drop zone, a replayed stroke, a lost ball, out of bounds, or an unplayable ball interrupts the distance chain. A ball played as it lies in a penalty area can continue the chain without the app automatically creating a penalty stroke. You remain responsible for confirming the round record.
Round Trail is a user-activated, temporary aid for manual stroke placement. It never creates confirmed ball positions automatically and stops no later than five hours after it starts. It is not a navigation or safety feature.
ABS Golf Performance is not safety, emergency, navigation, surveying, tournament-ruling, or official course-measurement software. Do not rely on the app where an exact position or distance is required. Follow course rules, tournament rules, posted guidance, and safe play practices.
The Performance Privacy Policy explains how confirmed round positions, temporary Round Trail points, local storage, and private iCloud sync are handled. Use of location features is subject to the permission choices available on your Apple device.
